Killiam Shakespeare is quickly becoming a go-to name in the independent and experimental music scenes.With the release of Killiam Shakespeare’s critically-acclaimed full length album A Town Called Elsewhere (Wax Poetics, Okayplayer, Afropunk), the collective’s infectious genre blending sound continues to garner national attention. The band’s momentum is especially notable on the independent scene, where they have combined with key collaborators like PLAYlist Retreat founder and renowned selector DJ Jazzy Jeff as well as Amber Navran (of Moonchild). Killiam Shakespeare’s upcoming dates include a shared bill with Japanese Breakfast and Hozier at WXPN’s Xponential Fest this summer. The scheduled performance follows recent sets alongside Kiefer and Braxton Cook.
