AMERIE

Amerie is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, producer, and writer. The daughter of a Korean artist and an African American military officer, Amerie was born in Massachusetts, raised all over the world, and graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s in English. She is the editor of the New York Times bestseller Because You Love to Hate Me and recently founded Amerie’s Book Club, which highlights diverse and unique perspectives and voices.

Amerie debuted in 2002 with the album "All I Have," which included the hit single "Why Don't We Fall in Love". Her sophomore album, "Touch," featured the globally successful single "1 Thing". She has released four studio albums and is known for incorporating diverse musical elements into her work.
