TROUBLE FUNK

Legendary DC Go - Go Band Trouble Funk's music has been sampled hundreds of times by everyone from Dr. Dre to the Beastie Boys, from George Michael to George Clinton and from Will Smith to LL Cool J.  The band was prominently featured in the HBO documentary series:  Foo Fighters  "Sonic Highways" and counts Dave Grohl as one of their biggest fans and supporters.  Sharing the stage over the years with acts such as Curtis Mayfield, P Funk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Van Morrison, Elvis Costello, Los Lobos, UB40, Def Leppard, Fishbone, Heart, LL Cool J, Gary Clark Jr., Buddy Guy, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Trombone Shorty and most recently The Foo Fighters at RFK Stadium, The Cal Jam in San Bernardino and DC's newest super venue "The Anthem". Trouble Funk has spread the Funk/Go - Go sound from DC to California and internationally from the UK (Glastonbury and the O2 Academy) to Norway and Tokyo.  Trouble Funk had a profound influence on much of early Hip - Hop Culture as well as the current resurgence of live funk bands and are ready to make 2018 their best touring year ever.

My Brother from another mother, Big Tony Fisher and Trouble Funk join forces with the Foo Fighter's Dave Grohl to celebration the opening of the Smithsonian's African-American's museum. Taking the Stage for President and First Lady Obama! I am so proud.
